An intense love story - La Nuit Trésor Intense

It’s time to upgrade your fragrance game in 2022.

If you are in need of a nice perfume to add to your shelf, look no further than this badass babe. In fact, Lancome takes “nice” to new heights.

Lancome La Nuit Trésor Intense recently caught my nose. It is a women’s fragrance and a pretty flanker to the original La Nuit Trésor that seeks to celebrate femininity.

It is a floral scent infused with notes of damask rose and black cherry combined with some almond milk and madagascar vanilla.

Between these notes, this combination makes it a perfect choice for a fall or winter evening, and, having said this, it is right up my alley. Although... mind you, I don't know if this should be officially considered a "fall and winter only" fragrance.

As someone who prefers subtle fragrances, I was intimidated by the “attack” of cherry and dominant sweetness at first. But I was pleasantly surprised after I let the fragrance settle into a warm dry down.

The fragrance is soft and reminds me a bit of the original, which makes it not different enough especially in the dry down. Oddly enough, the original seemed stronger than the Intense version.

Last, but not least, whether you’re looking for a new gift for someone or a solid fragrance to add to your shelf, and if you’re a fiend for sweet floral fragrances, you can’t go wrong with this fragrance. Especially if you don’t have the original.
