Black Opium Le Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent Fragrance

At first glance, Black Opium Le Parfum looks like just another flanker and a uncomplicated scent. Nevertheless, the first thought that popped into my head when I tried it is that this seems to provide a different vibe.

Black Opium Le Parfum begins with cinnamon and fresh green mandarin orange that quickly mingles with pear. In the mid notes, there is a little sharpness with jasmine and orange blossom and the dry down is powdery and balsamic with coffee, vanilla and patchouli. I love the vanilla note that remains throughout, but it’s not intense.

Although a safe buy, it’s something I would use for special occasions rather than my daily dose.
