Life is indeed beautiful: La Vie Est Belle
Yep. It's as beautiful as it sounds. I am sure Lancome made this fragrance with everyone in mind. And I don’t find this altogether surprising, La Vie Est Belle is ridiculously popular which doesn’t make it super unique. That's why I fully knew what to expect.
Released in 2012, La Vie Est Belle has been a top seller for nearly ten years now.
To my nose, it is incredibly warm and sweet while it artfully blends sweet and floral notes, true to floral gourmand fragrances.
Up top, you've got blackcurrant and pear, followed by floral notes in the middle, while the base contains tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli and praline. It's one of those fragrances that feels like many other sweet scents.
To my nose, it hits all the right notes. So if you’re after a compliment-getter and a high-performer, this perfume deserves a spot in your shelf.
